surveying, subsurface utility engineering, and construction permit
services. Commercial Engineering is located in the beautiful city of

Most infrastructure and land development requires a Professional
Engineer and Registered Professional Land Surveyor to prepare
construction permit documents for review by City, County, State and
Federal agencies as is required to protect the public through their
code compliance.
Having a good Engineer and Land Surveyor on your project team is
essential. We work with permit review staff and also partner with
Architects and real estate professionals during a typical site selection
and development process.
Using our Dynatel 2273 or Schonsted MAC-51BX pipe and cable
locaters we can locate underground utilities. We have specialized
vacuum equipment to safely excavate utilities when needed. We
provide quality levels "A" through "D" of utility location as outlined in
the American Society of Civil Engineers "Standard Guidelines for the
Collection and Depiction of Existing Subsurface Utility Data, CI/ASCE
38-02.
Some times it is a substantial benefit to locate existing utilities during
infrastructure design to help prevent construction cost overruns and
resolve potential utility conflicts prior to the construction, when delays
and change orders to resolve them can quickly exceed projected
